HISTORY

A flower of Gold and Sun

The immortelle flower is immortal (never withers or fades)

Even after many years, it still wears its yellow tassels with pride and mischief.

Helichrysum comes from the Greek: hélios for sun and chrysos, gold. A plant of stones and little else, Helichrysum produces an essence so rare that it takes almost a ton of flowers to extract 1 liter of essential oil.
Since 2013, we've been cultivating this remarkable plant. We made several trips to source the best seeds.

We have selected those most suited to our terroir, which produce a superior quality essential oil.

This is one of the most powerful essences, used since ancient times for its numerous anti-haematoma virtues and beneficial effects on the skin.

Its emollient and regenerative properties are highly sought-after in cosmetics.

Princess Nausicaa, who rescued Ulysses in Homer's Odyssey, used to anoint her body with Immortelle oil, making it her elixir of youth. When she rescued Ulysses from the wreck of his ship, she rubbed him with Helichrysum essential oil.

This restored his strength and beauty.
Also known as boxer's oil, designed to soothe and heal blows. It's part of the first-aid kit of manual workers and DIY enthusiasts who know that the hammer doesn't always reach the nail, and sometimes comes to caress a finger that didn't ask for it...

Our land

Flowering

The plant exudes a curry-like fragrance, and attracts numerous butterflies and foragers of all kinds. Like lavender and other fragrant plants, it needs water stress to initiate essential oil production. Full bloom is reached in June after the first warm spells.

The earth is then covered in a golden yellow that would have inspired Van Gogh, such is its intense vibrancy!

Safety precautions

Not suitable for children under 6, pregnant or breast-feeding women.

Do not use on people with allergies to essential oils.
To perform a test, place a drop on the crease of the elbow and wait 24 hours.
As a general rule, essential oils should be diluted in a vegetable oil or cream of your choice. Do not apply to mucous membranes, eyes or ears.

Conservation

Keep out of reach of children, away from light and heat, in unopened packaging.
